Associate Individual Therapist

creative arts therapist

Hi I’m Julie! I provide Mental Health Counseling, Sex Therapy, and Art Therapy to individual adults. I am available for therapy both online and in-person. I integrate a number of different therapeutic styles and modalities, depending on what best fits with my client and their specific needs.

Social justice work and anti-colonialism take precedence in my work. I identify as queer and neurodivergent myself. I am interested in holistic care and intersectionality. I specialize in working with neurodivergent humans, and practice trauma-informed care. I am kink informed, and I have a lot of experience with polyamorous and non-monogamous folks. I also enjoy working with clients who are exploring gender, sexuality, and identity. STI’s can be scary, but I have a lot of up-to-date information and experience working through a positive diagnosis.

Some clients also explore their own spirituality and existential questions through our therapeutic work. Polyvagal Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Creative Arts Therapies have been valuable approaches for my clients in our work together. I like to help people tap into their own creativity and work collaboratively with clients to find unique solutions best suited to each person’s needs and lifestyle. If you’re interested in working with me or chatting more about the kind of work I do, please reach out to set up a consult call.
