“Choosing to be curious is choosing to be vulnerable because it requires us to surrender to the unknown” -Brene Brown

Our lives are in constant flux day-to-day. Our happiness, confidence, and the way we respond to our lived experiences, in all it’s forms, are always changing. I believe that transition and change are a fact of life and if you have been drawn to reach out for therapy in recognition of that, you are in the right place. Sometimes we have control of these changes and other times we don’t. Sometimes we have more capacity to hold change and other times, we don’t! There are many parts of us we don’t need to change but rather be accepted and embraced. I am here to work with you to embrace yourself through change with confidence and joy.

Will we be a good fit?

Without question, there are two things people particularly like about working with me:

A high capacity for empathy. I am dedicated to personal insight and mindfulness, which allow me to be open and present during sessions with you.

A deep commitment to investigating and exploring. I go deep in my sessions. I challenge individuals with compassion and encourage transparency while uncovering layers throughout my work.

There is a significance in being held through the process of growth and I am here to see you through that process. By holistically emphasizing balance and interconnectedness, we can approach our stories with compassion and nourishment.

More about my background

I am a trauma and somatically informed therapist with a master’s in Clinical Social Work and Human Sexuality. I have trained with Betty Martin and Katie Spataro on building a container for needs to be expressed, using interactive and profound assessment methods to understand the capacity clients have in working with me and using healing work ethically and sensitively. I completed a month-long intensive yoga teacher training and philosophy with Yogi Mohit and Harmindra, philosophical and spirit scholars. I completed AASECT Sexual Attitudes Reassessment and Human Sexuality Core Knowledge from Pamela Lannutti Ph.D and Tracie Gilbert Ph.D. I value transparency in every relationship and stay curious with clients. I am driven by the idea that what you practice for yourself, you practice for others. I value creating a space to be vulnerable, a grounding place that encourages healthy risks and healing.

You are the expert of your own life, and that will be honored and respected.

I work with adult and adolescent individuals for in-depth therapy. I work with romantic relationships including non-monogamy, monogamy, and various sexualities. My specialties include sexuality and gender, sexual and relationship trauma as well as somatic and therapeutic yoga coaching.
